Chief has been arguably our top men's dress casual shoe for the last decade or so. It features a supremely comfortable and supportive cork footbed, which can be removed and replaced down the road, ensuring long term comfort. It also has a polyurethane sole with a metal shank for stability, and the hand-sewn Strobel construction makes it strong and extremely flexible.

We have many versions of Chief in-store, but the handcrafted version is really unique. The leather is hand dyed in a studio separate from Naot's main factory, which means every pair is unique and won't necessarily look exactly like the pictures shown.

*Sizing recommendation: this style fits a bit on the large/wide side of things, so we generally recommend a half size down if using your usual dress/casual shoe size, or 1 full size down if using your athletic/running shoe size.
